Mickey welcomed a group of outstanding students from Greene County High School. They were given a tour of the Capitol and were honored to meet with Governor Perdue. Representative Channell believes "it is very important for young people to get involved in their State Government. I think if you get interested in the political process early on, you will be a more active citizen as you get older."
