Dear Prospective Participant:

The Annual Mickey Channell Golf Tournament is June 3, 2008. As you know, a necessary part of having a successful campaign is the ability to raise sufficient money to get our message out.

Our one major fundraising event of the year centers around a golf tournament on Tuesday, June 3rd. If you do not play golf, or your schedule will not allow you to participate, please consider a donation towards my campaign. Any amount will be appreciated and spent on my campaign to represent Greene, Putnam, Oglethorpe, and Wilkes counties.

The site for this year’s annual golf tournament on June 3rd will be the Great Waters Course at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia. The Great Waters course is a championship par-72 designed by Jack Nicklaus, and is one of the top courses in Georgia. Directions are on the back of this letter. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m.

This year’s tournament will be limited to 144 players. Register early to ensure your spot in the tournament. Enclosed you will find a registration form to be completed and mailed or faxed, or you may register online.

Summertime on Lake Oconee is a beautiful place to enjoy fellowship with friends. I hope your schedule will allow you to join us for a day in the sun on June 3rd.
