Promoting Jobs & Economic
Development
As a
self-employed businessman, Mickey Channell understands the
importance of quality jobs to our citizens and that stimulating
economic development in our district is vital to our area. Georgia
is a pro-business state, and Mickey wants to use his conservative
fiscal leadership approach to ensure that our district is attractive
to industry. During Mickey’s tenure as our State Representative,
Georgia has been the fastest growing state east of the Rocky
Mountains, has created more jobs than all but two states, has
experienced a steady decline in the unemployment rate and has
experienced a 34 percent growth in personal income. Mickey will
continue to work with local and state officials to bring industry,
economic development and jobs to our district.
