Growing up on a small farm in Greene County, Georgia, Mickey Channell knows firsthand the impact that agriculture has on our lives. He knows that family farms are the backbone of Georgia. As our state’s largest industry, agriculture generates more than $5.1 billion per year in cash receipts to the state’s economy and Mickey understands the industry is constantly changing. He wants to continue working hard to ensure that our farmers have the latest technology, research and development available to keep their competitive edge.
